The Fat Fund
The Fat Fund is a Listed Investment Company (LIC) that uses the Fat Prophets Report as a major source of investment ideas. Like the Fat Prophets Report, the Fat Fund has a heavy emphasis on value investing. The Fat Fund trades on the Australian Stock Exchange.
The Fat Fund offers many of the benefits of a managed fund including;
- Professional Money Management - Fat Prophets Funds Management Australia Pty Limited
- Diversification - the Fat Fund will hold between 25 and 80 securities
- Affordability – no minimum investment
- Convenience - the Fat Fund trades on your behalf
- Liquidity - tradable volumes of FAT listed security
It is important to note that while the Fat Fund will be managed with a similar value based investment philosophy to that employed by the Fat Prophets Report, the Fat Fund is not required to follow the recommendations of the Fat Prophets Report.
